I was hoping to do the little tag album for April ... didn't happen. I've wanted to do the May, Everyday Album (a project from Stacy Julian's Big Picture Scrapbooking) since I read about it and still haven't ... so this is it ... this is my May. I'm going to do some type of tag/mini album with a picture a day in May. And what better month than May? Between Mother's Day and my birthday, it's a pretty good month in my book :).
And since I'm making this declaration at 9PM at night my picture for May 1st will be of this ... the one thing I photographed today:
And with each day I'd like to list 5 things I want to remember from the day:
- I wasn't feeling well this morning and Matt let me sleep in until 9AM. While I slept he fed Ethan, got him dressed, brushed his hair & teeth, un-loaded, loaded and started the dishwasher and took out the trash and recycling. A nice way to wake up!
- Ethan and I played Legos ... I'm not sure which of us likes this more. Legos are fun at any age!
- While Ethan was at preschool I used my free time to go to Family Bookstores. I forget how great it can feel to buy great resources for our spiritual life ... I picked out a book for each of us and am excited to get started: Songs in the key of Solomon (for Matt & I), A Mother After God's Own Heart by Elizabeth George (for me) and Little Visits with God (for Ethan).
- At preschool, Ethan picked flowers for Matt and I (dandelions) and put them in a basket for us for May Day.
- We went out for ice cream!
I so hope to post once a day in May so I can keep track on my blog and then create my album in June ... anyone want to play along with me?
Now ... I seem to remember starting a few other challenges ... 52 Card Scrap Up and Paper08. Maybe National Scrapbook Day on Saturday can inspire me to get caught up!

I think it's a great idea - but I know I won't follow through...so I'm going to depend on you for this fun.

Yeah, I'm kinda with Jessie on this one....it's a fabulous idea and sounds like lots of fun...I've so fallen of the wagon with so many other challenges and projects. Good luck to you though! I can't wait to see your little mini!
I am very tempted to play along with your everyday in May but I have a hard enough time getting my 52card challenge done each week. I don't want to commit to something that I won't follow through with because then it just becomes a burden to me. I do look forward to seeing yours though :)
Love the idea of everyday in May, I think I'm going to play along. Let me state this right off, I'm going to try everyday but not going to be hard on myself if everyday in May turns into...every other day or just the everyday I am able to do. ;o) Is that okay?
