I *heart* Costco ...

... as in the warehouse.

I know it's so "typical" American of me, but it's true I love it. I mean really where else can you get this kind of shopping in one stop?

Today's Costco Run:
  • Allertec - Kirkland's take on Zyrtec (I love the price, we'll see if it works as well)
  • Bison Burgers (seriously, have ya'll tried this? It's so good and way better for you than a hamburger.)
  • Bread - Oroweat Oatnut (we go through a lot of this with PB&J's)
  • Butter (as I said before, butter in freezer = contentment for me, at least in my baking world)
  • Egg Substitute (we also go through a lot of this since Matt & I both enjoy an egg & cheese sandwich ... almost daily)
  • What this isn't exciting yet? Okay ... just wait ...
  • Magazines @ 30% off (Today's pick was Home Companion)
  • Plants ... beautiful, big, flowering hanging baskets (I bought two today to put in my terra-cotta pots out front. I just snipped off the hangers, dug out a space and plopped them inside.)
  • Strawberries (Mmmm, now we're talking ... the biggest strawberries and only $5.99!)
I really don't know why, but as I unloaded my stuff at home (using my new Win-Co green bags (thank you for the reminder Amanda)) I just smiled at all the fun, practical and totally un-necessary thing you can get at Costco.

(Isn't this a happy little entrance?!?)

After our morning errands, E went to pre-school and I sewed. After pre-school we planted, sprayed off the front of the house, walkway, chairs, etc. And we broke out the water table, the neighbor girls came over and we proceeded to play and enjoy the HOT weather for almost two hours. Wonderful.

(Ethan and his girls ... playing at the oh-so-loved water table)

Now I know I promised a "sweet" post ... but this one seemed to take precedence. And I think Friday is a good day to "share a treat" with someone. So tune in again tomorrow.

And just to satisfy that sweet tooth ... here are todays Ethan-isms:

While I was in the shower this morning Ethan asked Matt this ...
E - "Dad, can I have my next birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese?"
M - "Well, we can look into that when it's closer."
E - "Okay, It's where a kid can be a kid."
(Ahhh, the power of commercials)

While I was on the phone this morning Ethan starts playing his harmonica very close to me and very loudly.
Me - "Ethan, you need to stop playing your harmonica until I'm off the phone."
E - "I was playing for God because that is the kind of thing He likes to hear."

Happy Thursday!!

We jsut got back from a trip to Costco. Gotta love those coupon books! I LOVE those flowers. We are going to get some this weekend but I am thinking we should have just got some from Costco tonight. May have to go back.

Do you like those Winco green bags? I know Amanda mentioned it earlier this week and I was seriously considering getting some. (I do trust your opinion Amanda but was just looking for another) :)

(Yeah, thanks pal...I said the bags were great, buy them!)

Yes, who doesn't love Costco?! It's great! Jason works right next to costco and usually does the costco shop, which is nice but sad for me. I might have to go...today!

Thanks for giving me my Ethan fix! And I love CostCo too! Today UPS delivered my new elliptical (300 lbs and it took Dad 3 hours to put together). Can't wait to start using it! Happy week-end!
