I'm sure this will take more than one post ... I think I'll start with where I left off on Thursday. Lucky for you I'll keep most of this to my short "top 5" lists for my Everyday in May :).
5.22.08
- Remember the dryer problem? Matt fixed it with a $20 part!!
- Matt came home early from work to fix the dryer (always nice) and we had a delicious dinner (grilled chicken salad sandwiches, salad and strawberries).
- After preschool Ethan and I dropped by Bethany's for some early birthday celebrating. She gifted me the cutest cupcake pincushion and two wonderful sewing books I've had on my wish list.
- I was able to sew my first project on my surprise present ... oh, did I forget to mention what it was? How about a NEW SEWING MACHINE!!! Matt and my parents gave me this lovely upgrade from my Brother that I've had for almost 10 years!
- I ended the day with a very thankful heart!
- I couldn't resist using some of my recent fabric purchases on a tote for ME. It was my birthday present to myself, LOL!
- Birthday lunch with two of my favorite girls (and my favorite boy).

- A big nap to sleep off my big lunch :).
- Matt got home really early to start our LONG weekend!
- 4.5 mile "wog" with my favorite neighbor :).
5.25.08
- Sleeping in ... until 8:45AM.
- Teaching the 2's & 3's class at church ... I don't always *love* this service, but it was such a blessing on Sunday!
- Another nap ... whoo-hoo. There is nothing better than a Sunday nap ... it is THE DAY of all days for naps.
- Carne Asada for dinner ... delicious marinade, not such a great cut of meat. I also had my birthday "dessert" ... an individual Walnut-Pecan pie from Farmer's Market on Saturday.
- Another 4.5 mile wog :).
- A day with NO schedule :).
- Matt and Ethan went waterfall hunting ... giving me over 3 hours of quiet to sew a few orders ... I got two totes done.

- While Ethan napped I ran to JoAnn's to get in on their Memorial Day sale. I 'needed' a few things, but spent 0ver an hour looking at patterns and fabrics. I ended up buying some blouse patterns for me and some fabric ... just wait until you see what I made ... so cute!
- We had a HUGE spring thunder/lightening/rain storm that dumped water on us. So fun to watch.
- A little bit of scrapping, making a few cards for the week ... then off to bed to start the "real" week :).
