Over ... Am I cleared for landing?
"Yep, bring 'er right in here mam"

Today was a perfect Saturday ...
I made cinnamon rolls last night to take to Bible study this morning. We were celebrating Tracy's 50th birthday and wrapping up our study for our summer break. There was much laughing and celebrating and good food! While I was at bible study the boys had gone to the car wash and to farmer's market. They surprised me with my favorite dried fruit and cinnamon sugar glazed almonds :). After they picked me up we headed to meet my mom across town for an early lunch. We were a bit early so we made a quick Costco and I just can't walk past their strawberries with buying some. Seriously ... a ton of HUGE delicious RIPE strawberries for $6. Thanks to the early lunch (soup, salad & bread sticks at Olive Garden) we got home right in time for naps for all of us. The rest of the afternoon was spent going through pictures (me) for a little project and playing outside/in the garage (Ethan & Matt). Through the open windows (love that) I heard Ethan playing in the driveway and looked down to see him with earmuffs on (worn when working with Matt in the "shop" around the loud tools) driving his trucks around. Of course I had to get a picture and when I saw the one above all I could think of was an air traffic controller. We finished up the day with an impromptu pizza night with Greg & Jessica at my favorite pizza place. And now I'm headed to bed to read more of the fascinating book, Escape.
(I'm pretty sure my five things to remember for today can be found above :).
Happy Saturday (and National Scrapbook Day ... not that I did any :)!

Oh my - what a cute picture! Glad the naps worked for everyone! I enjoyed lunch, and my trial run of driving and being in public after surgery. I even bought some tops for work at Kohl's after lunch! Thanks for getting me out. And the rest of my day was perfectly lovely also!
It sounds like a great Saturday!
What a cute picture of Ethan! I LOVE the boots! :)
Did you get that book from the library or is it yours? If it's yours, can I borrow it when you're done. And when I have time to read! I seriously haven't read a book in about 2 weeks. That's huge for me! Another reason I can't wait for next week to be over.
Great pic! I love it!!
I was digging through old photos tonight looking for a HS one of me (found one of both of us...) & found lots & lots of baby photos of E. So precious. Hard to believe he was that small. :)
