I thought the above chorus from one of my favorite songs, Jesus Bring the Rain by Mercy Me, was fitting for today in light of our current weather :). And I really love the song, it speaks to my heart, especially where I'm at in life right now. The picture is from Easter, one I don't think I shared ... colorful eggs on my BEAUTIFUL new spring table runner quilted and gifted to me by my crazy generous and talented friend, Jenn.

Sundays are such good days aren't they? At least if our heart is in it they are ... often mine is not, instead it's focused on me, my wants, my needs, my whatever. But today was a good Sunday. My three hour (yes you read that right) nap following church did not hurt one bit either.

After a nap like that it's a wonder I've managed to be as productive as I have. Dinner was made (mostly by Matt, boy is he good to me), Laundry was started and switched and folded, A new summer shirt (a "pattern" that's been floating around my head) was made, a grocery list ready for tomorrow and now blogging before bedtime :). Not too bad.

Tomorrow I'll be sharing what's on the menu for our house this week (it feels good to actually think about cooking ... something that hasn't really happened the last two weeks ... at least not by me :) and my current food likes (like I like them so much I eat them almost every single day).
