... didn't quite go as planned.
No picture of our market booth that I had hoped to share, no great stories of meeting people who are as excited about our creative venture as we are, no tales of many happy sales.
And you know what? That's okay. It's more than okay.
Instead, a morning filled with lots of rain and a canceled market, meant I got to spend a very relaxed day with my boys. We did paperwork (to possibly start our next family adventure), I packaged up an Etsy sale, we ran to the post office, Starbucks and Costco. We grabbed some lunch and brought it home, we ALL took much deserved naps. Then I puttered around the house, the boys played Wii Lego Starwars, Matt made us dinner (pizzas and flatbread on the grill ... Yum) and now I'm cleaning up and doing a bit of paperwork.
I think the day went SO much better than I imagined ... I'm so glad I'm not in control of these things ;).
And guess what? I'm already SO prepared for next Saturday (our second, well now first day) at the market. Anything I get done this week will be sprinkles on the already baked and frosted cake :).

Sounds like you had a good day even though it wasn't what you planned. Pizza and flatbread on the grill sounds delish!
Glad the day turned out well - I too was disappointed to not come 'shopping'. Will be there next week for sure!
