We're half way through May?
How did that happen?

Thankfully I have been a bit better at taking pictures and I have ones like these to remind me of the fun we've been having ...

Today we had a playdate with a bunch of wild animals ...



Holding hands for about 3.2 seconds ... Summer and I's attempt at keeping them together.
Apparently Fridays in May are a popular day for field trips to the zoo. Lucky us.

Little birds are as hard to get a photo of as little kids.

And then there's this little guy.
He was just so darn cute and funny I just had to take him home.

(Good job guessing on my secret sewing project, but so far no one is right. I made quite a bit of progress tonight, of course ... after it's too dark to take decent pictures. So I'll take some tomorrow and post a picture and a clue. If no one gets it then I'll do the same on Sunday night. Today's Hint = I'm making two things out of those lovely strips of fabric, one I've never made before and the other I have made once as a gift. )
