May 28 ...

Argh, this matey has finished the chapter of his life known as "Pre-School."
Mama's not so sure she likes where this story is headed ...

Luckily we're on summer break and don't have to talk about it for a few more months :). So today, we just enjoyed a "Pirate Picnic."

(Ethan and his fabulous, we're going to miss you so much, teacher ... Mrs. S.)

We have SO loved this preschool and it's hard to think we won't be going there in the fall. After a quick two years, it feels like an extended church family. It was not a school rigid on academics, but rather one that gave a wonderful "school" experience to the kiddos, teaching them, directing them and LOVING them in the warmest of environments.

We finished our day with a celebratory "last day of school" dinner out at Red "Rob Bob" and then some Starbucks and shopping. I'm looking forward to soaking up every minute of fun with this guy for the next 75 (or so) days of freedom that we have before school starts.

Happy Thursday!

Kindergarten is a lot of fun! You both are going to love it. Enjoy your free days because when school starts I'm sure you'll be like me ... looking forward to all the holidays and parent/teacher conferences they can schedule. ;o)
