We've missed you ...
... at least that glorious WARMTH that we know you can provide, but often forget after months of frigid (I say frigid, a joke to people in say, Alaska, but frigid to me) temperatures ... well today was one of those glorious reminders. Sun, beautiful sun and with barely even a breeze it was a perfect spring day. We got out and enjoyed the fresh air and warmth with a walk to the park, a long play and a leisurely walk back. No pictures to show you because I wanted to just 'be' and enjoy and not worry about snapping photos. The fresh air made Ethan dizzy with joy as he took off running down the sidewalk with his "best-friend" Nemmie (aka Emily).
While I made this wonderful Pizza Carbonara, Matt & Ethan enjoyed more time outside while Ethan logged some "miles" on his bike.
More sun in our future ... which means more happy days outside for us ... the landscaping is in serious need of a fresh spring clipping.

And the rain is back. I knew our sunshine was too good to last. Oh well- it lasted longer than the weatherman said it would - 3 days of glorious sun. Just a little tease until June when the rain stops. :) Enjoy your sun - soak up some for me!!

Isn't this weather wonderful! And it's only going to get better this weekend. We spent the better half of the day yesterday outside at the park and in the backyard enjoying it too. I love it!
How about sharing that Pizza Carbonara recipe?!!
