Happy, Happy Birthday Mom!

As I tried to decide which picture of post, I settled on this one ... the first picture of her and Ethan together. You know why I like it so much? Because this is pretty much how she looks every time Ethan enters her world. A big smile ;). She has loved being "Gwa-ma" and I've loved watching her with Ethan (even if Summer and I have somewhat moved down the priority list since Ethan was born).

Mom, you're a wonderful friend who has shown me so much! Thanks for always loving me ... I can say that I have never worried about my self worth or value, you and Dad gave me such self-confidence! (Not always a good thing I know :) ) You're always there to listen and only offering advice when I ask. You're so generous to us, with both your time and money. I love seeing you and Dad fulfilling dreams of yours before you've retired. Although you're not as close as I would like, I can see how happy the "country life" has made you and that makes it just fine. You're a smart, hard working lady who is also a lot of fun to be around.

I know that is a bunch of random thoughts and seeing how I haven't had my iced tea yet, who knows if it made much sense ... but the one thing I'm trying to say is "We love you very much and wish you a special day (and week) filled with fun and family and friends!!"
