Wow!

Want to know what a girl can do in one day with less than an hour of time being "used up" on the Internet ...
  • Eat breakfast
  • Bake banana muffins for my favorite boy
  • Start laundry, switch laundry, hang laundry
  • Clean sheets on both beds
  • Clean entire downstairs, including hand mopping bathrooms
  • Make lunch for favorite boy
  • Drop off favorite boy at school
  • Run 4 errands including stopping at the P.O. on the busiest day of the year (can we say PANIC ATTACK and thank goodness for CLICK-N-SHIP).
  • Make grilled cheese
  • Sit for the first time, enjoy about 20 minutes of reading new Christmas book
  • Wrap last half of books for the "Christmas Book Basket"
  • Open boxes from UPS man, hide contents, breakdown boxes
  • Pick up E from school
  • Fold and put away all laundry
  • Make dinner
  • Cut fabric for Christmas gifts
  • Make sugar cookie dough
  • Print labels
  • Blog
PHEW ...

The problem, now I know just how much I can tackle in a day without the little box distracting me. Hhhhmmmpppphhhtttt.

Tomorrow I'm going to do a '10 on Tuesday' with some of my favorite things right now :).

Today I'll share my Christmas reading ... something I've been doing the past few years. I love a good book ...

The Christmas List, Richard Paul Evans
- My first read for this month ... So, So, So, So very good. Seriously, if you can get your hands on it before Christmas get it and read it. It was a quick read too!

The Christmas Secret, Donna VanLiere
- I just picked this one up today from the library and started it this afternoon. It might be my last read, but I'm hopeful I can squeeze in one more before Chrsitmas. This is the author of the well known "Christmas Shoes" story.

Christmas Jars Reunion, Jason F. Wright - I read the original Christmas Jars last year and really liked it, so this ended up on my list.

I hardly ever buy books non-fiction books as I'm not one to read a book more than one time. So I really *heart* my library and the fact that I can just put up my list of wants and wait for them to call me and let me know they are in. It's a bit of a surprise seeing which book arrived :). And now, having used this wonderful service for so long, it kills me to actually buy a book that I know I'll only read one time.

Dec 13th & 14th -
  • Ethan practicing for the kids Christmas Choir (performance on Sunday the 20th)
  • Matt & I enjoying a Sunday afternoon date while E was at practice
  • Christmas lights & hot chocolate
  • Sugar cookies
  • Christmas books
Happy Monday!
(Signing off and heading to bed for some R&R ... all that work makes for a tired mama.)

Good job! That's a lot! We're planning a super deep clean/toy purge on Saturday but I don't know if I can wait that long to get started! :)
Thanks for sharing your book! I started it last night and so far it's really good!

Well for the non-reader I am, I did get one book read (the one you gave me last year). That's pretty good for me. ;o)
It's amazing what gets done around here when the computer is off. I need to step away now and go think about what's for dinner.
