Growing snowflakes ...

Day 8 -
Before our days plans changed (we were called to "baby" duty again thinking a little someone might make his enterance today) we twisted some pipe cleaners, put them in their magical water and grew some snowflakes. So easy, so fun!:).

Day 7 - SNOW!

I love how you can tell it has snowed without even getting out of bed. The glow from outside, the unusual amount of light and the blanket of quiet that falls is a bit magical. It took Ethan about a half hour to realize what awaited him out the front door, but once it did he was bouncing off the walls until I set him free. I have to say that first snow fall makes
even shoveling fun!

I also started running again ... even if on the treadmill ... boo!

I finished off the day with a lovely evening with women from church, enjoying dessert, fellowship and an ornament exchange. I have to share the cutest little bird I got that goes perfect on our tree!

Happy Tuesday!

Fun snowflakes!
I love that your blogging daily too, it's fun to see what others are doing all month.
You're right I totally didn't mind shoveling but I thought it was because I had a dog out there with me running around. ;o)
And, the pictures of the girls out in it were right before Abigail was picked up for school, that's just how early she has to be there, 8am.

Those snowflakes look fun! Thanks for sharing, I may do those with the kids. What the heck is borax though? And where do you get it?
