I was playing catch up with laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning just didn't happen and then the knittybitties orders started rolling in. Wow! I think I got 3-4 this week added to the 2 I already had and again, wow, I am so thankful and enjoying all this creating. But all the creating does mean nights spent cutting fabric and then days spent sewing (and by days I mean 10 minutes here and hour there, it is easy to work into my "free" time). But here is what the house starts to look like in the midst of all of this ...
(View from the laundry room: First you see my pile of returns waiting to be put in the car; Next, toys to clean for the nursery at church ... yep, I clean toys almost each week; Then if you can make out all the "life" going on at the table, sewing machine and all the sewing stuff, Iced Tea (of course), Awana vest and book and I'm sure a hundred crumbs and threads needing vacuumed which luckily I don't think you can see :)Yes, you now know, I currently sew at the dining room table. It's right in the hub of the house leaving me "connected" to what is going on, allows me to hop on and off the sewing machine in between cooking dinner and laundry ... BUT, it does mean a messy looking house which makes me a bit crazy, so every evening I clean it all up so I have a fresh house to wake up to, if only for 5 minutes. So, the more I sew, LOL, the more I'm thinking I need a better space ... we shall see. For now it is what it is and it works and Matt has complained yet :).
In Etsy/knittybitties news ... I added a few more of this tote to the shop & I have a really sweet springy hobo tote to add tomorrow or Monday.
And coming soon to a post ... my new, beautiful custom built hall/sofa table. I can't wait to share this labor of love!
Happy Saturday, Happy "loosing an hour" day & Happy rest of your weekend!

I know, I can't stand when things aren't in their place or when something doesn't have a home.
