I'm not the only one ...

... with a creative nature in our house. And while he would argue this three ways from Sunday (did I just say that?), "he" is so talented in so many facets of life ... woodworking happens to be one of them.

Here is the "table that Matt built" ... that sits in the house that someone else built (but Matt could have ;).

It was created from our former dining table, which was equally as beautiful, but way to large for our new home and thus couldn't be used. I'm so happy with its new form. Isn't it incredible? I wanted it stained darker (it's made from Alder) to match out entertainment center which is in front of the couch. They look like we bought them together! Matt wasn't sure about the stain at first, but he likes the way it all came out. I can't say he loves Ethan and I's meager attempt at Easter decorations now residing on the table, but I sure love it all! Thanks Babe!

Happy Tuesday ... Ethan is in bed (and sound asleep after a hard day of preschool) and I have fabric to cut!

Very nice! I love the dark stain! It is our stain of choice, our entertainment center (which is sitting there, empty and lifeless) is a very dark brown/black. I love that table! Nice work, Matt!

That is so great Andrea! Very nice Matt!

I'm way behind on commenting here but the new tote is very cute & I really like the new banner. I need to redo mine. I wanted something springy but don't like what I threw together.

Wow! That is fabulous - love it!! And I'm so glad to see art hanging on the wall there too - since "Jess & Tim" took yours. :)

I LOVE your easter decorations too - I couldn't really picture it when you were telling me, but now I get it - love it!! Talk to you in the morning! :)

Like Jessie said - WOW! Matt does such beautiful work. I think you bring out the best creativity in each other. I have to admit that I had to go back and look after I read Jessie's comment - I was so WOWED by the table I didn't even notice the wall! Can't wait to see it 'in person'!
