After sleeping a glorious 11 hours last night, we woke up and headed out for a day of snorkeling.
The first beach we went to was, Po'olenalena Beach ... just what you would think of when you think of a tropical beach.
Here's my view from the towel ...

And here was my view if I turned to my left ... (too bad the "serenading cowboy" isn't in this picture ... wow, what a sight as he strolled down the beach with his cowboy hat, guitar and a white thong ... good thing he quickly strolled away!)
The best part of the beach ... there were turtles "playing" about 10ft from shore. Just putting on a show for all the snorkelers. There was also talk of an octopus, but we stayed away from that sight.
Matt is totally bitten by the snorkeling bug, so we headed a little further south and found Ahihi Cove, which turned out to be quite the gem. It was like our own little "pool" to go exploring in, protected from the wind and surf. There were so many different types of fish ...
After grabbing a late lunch, we headed back to our hotel to do a little more snorkeling around Black Rock. I was still a little skittish from our "ray" encounter, but decided to be brave and give it another try. What great timing ... within a few minutes of being in the water, yet another turtle gave us a show. Matt was able to get more great turtle photos and a great short video ... want to see? Alright, here you go, hold your breath and pretend you're under water ...
And while not as impressive as a 4-5ft turtle, here's another colorful fishy for you ...
