... that I hope will leave the biggest impression on Ethan. Something as simple as a plate of pancakes turned into something very fun and memorable with a little more effort.
Monday night I knew I needed an easy dinner to make and that Ethan would eat well, since I really didn't want a mealtime battle to ensue. I had bookmarked a recipe in one of my Rachel Ray Everyday magazines a few months back and searched through to find it ... Peanut Butter Poodle Pancakes. Not only were the pancakes good (I love peanut butter on mine anyway, so this was a perfect fit) they were so easy and so cute when turned into pups. Ethan thought it was great and the smile on his little face made me so happy.
And since I'm up late enough for it to be Thursday, I will now be ahead on blogging when I wake up in the morning!
Happy Thursday!

Too cute. I'll have to get that recipe. I'm sure Claire could care less about how cute they are, but I've been wanting a way to spruce up her pancakes. Peanut butter might be just the thing!

Thanks for posting that! They are so cute! I love peanut butter on my waffles so I'm sure these would be good too. I'll probably give it a go tomorrow.

You're such a good mom. Will you tell me these things when I become a mom? I don't think I'll remember to try fun things like this...maybe I will - who knows what I'll do when that day comes! :)
