Sew thankful ...

Daily I seem to think how thankful I am that God made me with creative fibers running through my design. Rarely does a day go by that I don't create something. Some days it is more glamorous (sewing up a new shirt) than others (making a PB&J for Ethan).

So when opportunities come along that recognize and validate this creative spirit, I get filled up. Hopefully not filled up with pride because I honestly do not thing that my ability comes from any where other than my Creator. But it fills me up with happiness and a desire to keep creating.

Last Friday I got an e-mail about an exciting opportunity to sew some items for the upcoming Quilt Market ('the' semi-annual event in the sewing/quilt fabric world). I'm sew excited, LOL.

The turn around is fast ... like 3-4 days fast ... and I have 3 projects to make. I'm going to try not to forget to document the rest of life going on (PB&J's still need to be made), but if it's a little boring the next few days you'll know why. And I'll share the projects on my Knitty Bitties blog when they are all done.

Happy Tuesday!
