Friday, we kicked off my birthday celebrating with lunch at "Red Rob Bob" (this is what E named Red Robin long ago and it's stuck) for my free birthday burger with my mom and sis :). I brought the camera ... I forgot that it wouldn't be easy to take a self portrait with the 50mm fixed lens ... this is what we got ...
... it makes me smile :).
Then Summer and I hit Lowe's (a lightbulb for her ... she's become Miss. Fix-It and a planter and herbs for me) and WinCo. I had just enough time to grab an iced tea before I picked up E. Then I rushed home and got ready for 'craft night' with some of my favorite peeps. Hosted by my sister at her new home ...
It's really more about food and talking, then crafting ...

And I took photos, snacked a plenty and sewed on part of the binding on my quilt (which is all done now!!). I'm pretty sure I remember Kelly telling Bethany and I we looked like we were 80 as we sat next to each other, Bethany crocheting and me hand quilting :).
These girls make my heart so happy. I'm blessed to have them in my life and love sharing a night of laughter with them. A perfect start to my wonderful weekend!
