... with a cupcake

And here's a close up of my new tool caddy ... keeping all my sewing/scrapbooking tools right on my desk, all organized and cute. Love it!

This is Week 1: Project 1 from "Adventures in Crafting." While I opted not to lug a 40 gallon rubbermaid to Oregon with me this time (as I did last time, full of scrappy and sewing supplies), I knew Jessie & I still needed to do a little crafting ... and when I saw this project, I knew it would be perfect. Had "we" (being Jessie) not splurged on the wavy crimper, the total cost for the project would have been about $3 for two. We bought the pins, sequins (under the pins) and felt. Everything else was from Jessie's supplies. Is this not just too cute?!?! I plan to hang mine from my new bookcase in my new space :).
And a little more crafty sharing ... a view of my desk this morning. Do you see all the goodness? The yummy stack of fabric ... half of it is washed and pressed and ready for creating, the other half is my purchases from this weekend and needs washed (which requires dreaded trimming with pinking shears) and pressed.

Oh and what's that? You see white stuff on my roof top outside my window? Well yes you do ... we woke up to SNOW IN APRIL!!!! What in the world?!? Ethan came in this morning and matter of fact proclaimed, "It snowed, I looked outside and saw it, so you don't need to tell me."
Alright then.
Happy Wednesday!!

E is too funny! Now he's bossing you!! :) LOL.
It's suppose to be 74 here this weekend & sunny - want to come over?
Love your red cupcake! Really turned out cute. Way to go on the frugality too.
Super-cute! Your "space" is coming along so well! Ethan cracks me up, he's going to be all grown up before you know it... and I think he's going to talk just like his dad ;)
Ethan's comment cracked me up! Sounds like something Maddy would say :)
I saw that MM tool caddy hiding behind your sewing machine and was going to make a comment about it and then you highlighted it :) I love it!! I almost got one when redoing my scrap space but opted for the clip it up embellishment holder instead (seeing that I have one of those little table totes).
Can't wait to see what you create with all that fabric! Oh and one last thing and I will bring this novel to a close. I loved that black and white tote and it is just killing me not to get it! So cute!
I bet you are just loving your space! Do you have any green, brown, or purple fabrics? Those are some of my favorite colors. I like the brown for a base to hide dirt and wear. Courdoroy is always fun!!! Then greens or purple's ooh or deep dark cranberry reds.
I also like a little closure of some sort and maybe a pocket.
THis is turning into an order isn't it????
What do you think. We'll have to talk...
love that caddy...........and your cupcake bag is precious.
Very cool cupcake!!!
