Where do I even start?!?!

After a week of being away from home and pretty well away from the "online" world ... I feel like I have way too much to talk about for one little ol' post. So, I may have to split it up over the week.


Last week Ethan and I spent a wonderful 4 1/2 days with Jessie, while Tim was out of town. It was wonderful girls time (with a very obliging three year old boy) that we won't soon forget. Ethan has already asked if we can go back to Jess' house and then when can we go back. And yes he did say on a daily basis that he wanted to stay at her house forever. Ahhh, such a ladies man, knows the right buttons to push already ... Jessie was putty in his hands and he came back with some good loot to prove it!!


Jessie did a great job re-capping the weeks events ... very busy, but very fun and Ethan was so, so, so very good for us. He really is a great little person and lights up my days in ways I often take for granted.

Sadly, we both had colds while we were there and while it didn't slow me down too much while I was there, it all caught up with me on Saturday afternoon when we got home. I missed a day of my "Couch to 5K" and today when I tried to run my 25 minutes, well I just couldn't do it ... my still recuperating lungs said no way. So I'll add an extra day of training in this week in hopes of being back on track. Bethany and I are planning on celebrating our success by running this 5K in a few weeks.


Matt worked so hard with us gone that he had some extra time he could take and so we spent today together. A nice way to start our week ... grocery shopping, Starbucks, a walk in the park and dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory.
