Well, it's a little over TWO months until Halloween, but we've already secured a costume ;). It's become an annual tradition for Grandma J to buy Ethan his costume (it is a tradition, right Mom? Or am I just being cheap ... wait, don't answer that!), so when I got Old Navy's e-mail notification that they were in stock, well given several choices, Ethan was adamant that a "nice" dragon he would be. Very well then ... little did I know the talk of Halloween and this costume would consume all the remaining hours of yesterday and today started in the same fashion. So we headed to Old Navy, where Ethan was tickled with his find and mama happened to get in on a pretty cute little bit of happy too!
Then we were off to the library for good books and good DVD's (we scored when they rolled the returned videos over to where we were looking). We came home with Max&Ruby (Ethan loves them!), Robin Hood & the new Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (for me, not Ethan).Home for naps, but not before trying on the dragon costume ... no nap for me, I did manage to run 23.5 minutes ... but wimped out before I could finish the last 1.5 minutes, ridiculous I know ... but you weren't on the treadmill, so you can't judge me! ;).
Then upon waking Ethan jumped back into his dragon costume and then into my bed (and of course picked his nose, you wouldn't expect anything less from a nice dragon, would you?) ... are those not the cutest little dragon feet you ever did see?
We wrapped up the day with a BIG event ... Parent Night at Ethan's new pre-school. We are all really excited about this new adventure in our lives ... Ethan is more than ready and I'm going to cherish those precious hours of freedom each week and try not to waste them away. It will also be Ethan's first year in Awana at church ... big things when you're three. Lots more running around for mommy ... no turning back now. First day of pre-"school" is next Tuesday!
Happy Tuesday to yoU!
(P.S. Remind me to tell you more about exciting scrapbooking stuff tomorrow ...)

He is a cute little dragon! I can't say the cutest because, well you know... :)
Ooo, preschool. It's coming up quick. And Cubbies? That's lots of change in his little world. Yours too.
Toooooooooooo cute! Love it!!!
And thanks a million, A, now I have the Max & Ruby song in my head! LOL!
Can't wait to see "first day of preschool" photos!!
Tell that cute little dragon that if he comes to stay with 'Auntie Jess' forever, I will let him wear the costume everyday...
What a cute boy! Well, even without the costume he's pretty darn cute. And 23.5 minutes is plenty to be proud of... really, what's another minute and a half. Consider it a full run :)
cute little dragon!
You are such a tease with this little scrap stuff announcement....I'm on pins and needles here....
The question is...does the shirt come in pink & white strips too?!?
