I know, I know ...

I am a bad, bad blogger. Honestly, where I left you hanging was not where I intended. I was all ready to do a post last Thursday night before I left on my whirl-wind tour of California. But our internet service had different plans and was out from about 4PM on ...

That being said, Friday - Monday was spent driving, sitting, driving and more sitting. More details on this in a moment. Then Tuesday - Today was spent catching up at home, tyring to catch some good quality sleep (has yet to happen) and just spend time with Ethan and Matt.

And I feel really bad that I didn't even get to do a special Father's Day post. So, better late than never, I am wishing my Dad a Happy Father's Day here on my blog. Thank you for who you are, for the love you have shown to your family, specifically me and for all your hardwork and dedication to our country. I love you!! And to Ethan's Dada, you know how much I love you too! Thank you for stepping up to the plate and watching Ethan for four days while I had some much needed, much appreciated girl time.

Okay, back to the California trip ... here is a quick breakdown:

• Approximatley 34 hours of driving in 4 days
• 1 Wedding
• 1 Surprise 65th Birthday Party
• Lots of Mexican food
• $150 in gasoline
• Approximatley 32 hours of non-stop girl talk = priceless

It's true, all but maybe two hours (if that) was spent in conversation with two ladies who are near and dear to me. My sister-in-love, Julie and my niece-in-love (ha, don't fall off your chair Julie!), Jessica. Thanks for a wonderful time.

I'll post pictures tomorrow ... I promise. We've had lots of outdoor fun this week, so I have a couple to choose from. Or maybe I'll give you one from the "Spirit of Boise" tomorrow (which we'll be rising at 6AM to witness!).
