After almost three years of growing my hair out ... I cut off 10 inches today! Whewwww ... how freeing it felt and I'm guessing tomorrow's much quicker shower will be even more freeing. I started out my pregnancy with Ethan with very short (well for me that is) hair and decided to just keep growing it. My original plan was to grow it through my next pregnancy and then donate the hair to Locks of Love. Well, with no pregnancy in sight, I finally broke out the tape measure and lo and behold I could cut 10 inches (the minimum donation for Locks of Love) and still have some hair left for me ;).
So I did it ... here is the before and after. Neither are great photos, but you wanted to see the new me, right? I'm not sure if the you can tell, but my hair was brought back to more of it's "natural" color with a brown weave. I like it ... I think I've been trying to tell myself I'm still more blond than brown, but that's really not true. So, I'm embracing the brown and I think I like it.
Sorry for no post yesterday. Our power decided to go off from 4:30 - 9:30PM. So by the time it came back on, I was settled in bed thinking it would be off the rest of the night.
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

I think you're adorable either way, but the new "do" gives you a little extra pep. :)
Congratulations on making such an important donation!!!
You are so adorable!!! I did Locks of Love a few years ago too. What a great thing to do, Miss A!
Looks good Andrea. I have been thinking about donating to Locks of Love after the wedding, but the maintenance of my childhood blonde may present a problem!
Enjoy the new do!
You look so pretty! Great cut!
WOW!!!! What a cute hair cut! I wish I could get so brave, I have about 10 inches that needs a cute little cut too :)
It looks great kiddo! But it always does! Finally - something good you can do with all that hair that you say I cursed you with! Love you sweetie!
Cute hair, the photographer would like some attribution for his work.
Very cute!!
I just chopped my hair a couple of weeks ago too. Kind of freeing isn't it? :)
