Remember this post from last year where I shared some of the Christmas books I was reading/read? Well I so enjoyed that, that I decided to do it again this month. However, I should have started in November as I have 6 books on my list ...
The Christmas Box, Richard Paul Evans ~
The first in a series of three (I checked out all three from the library today). I hope to finish this one and then move onto the others after I finish my other books. I loved The Gift, which I read last year.
Christmas Jars, Jason F. Wright
The Paper Bag Christmas, Kevin Alan Milne ~
A pretty new book that just came out in October
A Redbird Christmas: A Novel, by Fannie Flagg
The last three are all a shot in the dark, based upon a search on Amazon.com for "Christmas books" and then reading the descriptions and reviews. I'd love to know if you've read any of them and your thoughts ... or suggestions for others to read.
Last year, I read: The Christmas Shoes (this is also the first in a series of four ... I may add The Christmas Blessing to this years list as well), The Gift and On Strike for Christmas ... and I loved all three of them. The last one is very light and heartwarming.
Ethan opened his first book in our "25 Storybook Surprises" ... it was "If you take a mouse to the movies." :)
Happy Monday!!

Did you take all the Christmas books from the library?
I read The Nativity last year, among other things. They did a movie based on the book a couple years ago which I haven't seen yet. The book was pretty good though. It's a historical fiction book about Mary & Joseph and obviously Jesus' birth.
