Am I the only one being bombarded with some great online deals?
Yesterday I was took advantage of three online offers ...
The first one was at Leapfrog's site. They've been sending e-mail every other day and I'd looked, deleted and resisted the temptation. Why was I even tempted? Well we bought Ethan the Leapster2 for Christmas and I was looking at games/accessories. I resisted the Cyber Monday deals but when they were still offering them Tuesday, and Summer wanted to order too, we combined an order and saved an additional 15% off the sale prices and got free shipping!! Summer ended up saving over $75 from what she originally was going to spend!! ** We saved the extra 15% by taking an extra minute to do a search on "Leapfrog promo codes" and then picked the best one for our purchase. **
Then I was reading, Money Saving Mom, and saw this post about really inexpensive Christmas photo cards from Kodak. I thought it was worth a try since one, I already knew the picture I wanted to use and two, I wasn't feeling all that inspired to come up with something original :). Well my deal wasn't quite as sweet as those that got 30 cards for .48 ... but I did end up with 60 cards (I did two orders ... two different style cards) for $11.00. And that includes the shipping to Albertsons for pick up and 60 colored envelopes.
My last deal was found blog hopping from Money Saving Mom. I was reading further on this blog and saw a deal for E.L.F. cosmetics. I've heard of them, but never bought or tried them. The deal was order $20 from ELF and get $25 GC to Restaurants.com AND $10 Fandango coupon. I actually needed some cosmetics for a Christmas gift, so this worked out great. And a large portion of the ELF products are $1, so your $20 goes a long way. I think this deal is still going and the promo code is "DINE," again, you can do a search.
I also hit Walgreens and managed to get some good deals using their $5 off $25 along with several offers with Register Rewards. I ended up spending $40 OOP, I redeemed $12 Register Rewards and have another $11 Register Rewards for my next trip. And I got a flat iron ... which I tried this morning and I love. Yea!
Now if you've managed to make it through all that savings ... here's my last linky loo that might benefit you! Swagbucks ... have you heard of it? Well I read about it a few weeks ago, again on Money Saving Mom (can you tell I love that blog), and wasn't sure what to think. But after reading more about it, reading reviews and seeing there are several of these types of incentive sites out there, I decided to give it a try. It seems that *most* people who join and just use it for searching earn enough for at least a $5 GC a month. That's not a huge deal, but $5 to say ... Starbucks? Just for searching? Not bad. If you check it out and decide to try it based off of this post, please use this link. I signed up and the only thing I did (to make it easier for me to remember to use Swagbucks to search) was to go under the Search page and then click Toolbars and I downloaded the search for Mozilla. All this did is add Swagbucks as one of my search choices on my drop down search bar. I can switch between search engines, but have it set to Swagbucks. I'll let you know how it's working ... and feel free to ask any questions. I'm obviously very new to the site, but can tell you about my experience so far.
Alright, enough talk of deals ... unless you want to share some of yours with me :). We're off to bake cookies and build dinosaurs :).

Those darn Leapsters. They're giving me major fits! We want the regular Leapster for Carson (we don't want the internet capability because once they figure out that's possible it'll be a fight I don't want to fight) but most of the deals are for the Leapster 2. It's a long story but I finally got one at a sale price I can be happy with.
I've used the ELF stuff before. It's okay. With the GCs though it'd be worth getting again. I may have to look into it. Thanks :)
Wow, lost of savings going on at your house!! I'll have to check out that Swagbucks site, sounds interesting.
I'm going to have to check out the leapster site.
