Homemade sandwich with all the fixings, chips (baked Kettle Chips), cookie (Pumpkin White Chocolate Chip) and a coke with a straw :).
Love it.
Here's one of things I've been up to these past few weeks:
Peach Jam ... Canned by me!So last year, Kelly bit me with the canning bug. Still a bit intimidated last year I simply did freezer jams and butters ... and was not too happy with the results. But this year, I decided I could do this ( and it didn't hurt that Kelly practically held my hand and told me I could do this too!). Well I did it and I loved it (after the initial fear of major burns subsided) ... I canned 15 jars of peach jam and my, oh my, is it tasty. And how cute does it look all dolled up with a fabric scrap (and you know I have a few of these laying around) and some twine!?!?
Next canning adventure, applesauce and apple pie filling.
Yep, I love it. I love that I did it, that it looks cute, tastes delicious and will make sweet little handmade gifts.
Happy Thursday!
