A little look into our very fun Friday ...
A "mystery trip" to Krispy Kreme (yea for HOT donuts and pumpkin shaped donuts) for the kids (okay, Bethany and I might have had a few bites), Starbucks for the mommies (thank you Bethany) and then off to the zoo to see the new arrivals ... two giraffes and three lions!
After we toured "Africa" and saw all the other customary attractions we headed back to Bethany's house for lunch. A great morning and afternoon with some of our favorite people!
And guess what? I took pictures ... over 80!

And to give you a little smile, here are five funnies from Ethan, heard over the last few weeks:
"Boys are much cooler than girls"
(Oh really? Why is that?)
"They have penis' and go to the bathroom standing up."
"I'm coming to scare you, I"m coming to scare you, I'm coming to scare you ... BOO!"
(The song Ethan made up for Halloween ... he sings it SO cute. I'll try to get a video uploaded before Halloween.)
"I'm glad we haven't got our baby yet."
(Oh yeah, why is that?)
"Because I don't have to be quiet while it's sleeping."
"I don't want Jesus in my heart."
(Okay, so not funny unless you heard the whole conversation, but somehow Ethan now associates a profession of faith with death. We've talked A LOT about how that is not the case. He's not convinced ... hence the next funny that happened today.)
"Can we stop talking about this now? My ears are tired of listening to you."
(Said in the nicest way to ME of course ... trust me, I'm going to use this line on him very soon.)

The Africa exhibit is pretty nice isn't it? I think we may buy a pass in the spring so we can go more often. The kids loved it!
