A big sigh ...

... of relief that last week is over.

Don't get me wrong it was a good week, but it was a LONG week following a not quite as long week :).

  • VBS everyday 9-11:30AM with 45 4&5 year-olds :)
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • House cleaning and laundry
  • Hosting Bunko (12 women at my house with dinner and dessert provided)
  • Cleaning the church nursery and transitioning it to the new director
  • Dinner with Grandma
  • Ice Cream with friends
  • Zoo/Picnic with Claire
  • First day teaching 2's & 3's Sunday School
  • Church Picnic in 106 degree weather
Oh and did I mention that Matt was gone Wednesday to Saturday?!? I felt like I was on the run from the minute my feet hit the floor each day (sadly I didn't get in any real running ... I need to get back into the routine before my muscles forget) until my head hit the pillow very late at night.

But it's done and it was good and this week, while we do have something every day, is a much slower pace that we all need. I'm looking forward to an extra long weekend with Matt home for 4 days!

Lastly, a few pictures from our zoo day with Bethany and Claire ... I love all these pictures, but I especially love the last one of the two of them on the elephant. These two are as close to a sister/brother that the other one has ever had. We've had the joy and blessing of living close by and getting together almost weekly since Claire was born.

Happy Monday! I hope to see you much more this week!!

Last week was crazy wasn't it? But it was fun seeing you guys everyday, sometimes twice a day. The boys are already asking for Ethan to come play again.
That is a great picture of Ethan and Claire. The two of them are so cute together!

Busy indeed! Cute pictures, I like that one of Ethan going down the slide :)

You were busy! It gets hard when you have to get out of the house everyday.
Love the pics, you two have a couple of monkeys... ;o)

I'm just so glad you could fit us in ;)
I definitely need to get a copy of that one, I'm surprised at how well it turned out considering how wiggly they were.
Maybe swimming will be on the schedule this week?

Love the pictures! They are lucky to have each other aren't they! Glad Grandma got to have dinner - even if it added to the busy week. Love you - enjoy your 4 days with your 'men'!
