The best intentions ...

... don't factor in head colds and hard working husbands.

So, yesterday and today have been pretty low key. Yesterday we went to lunch with Grandma and then came home for naps. Matt again got home late and after we ate a quick dinner we had a little family time grabbing some Starbucks and then driving around looking at lights we haven't seen (we try to hit different areas of town on several nights to enjoy it through the month). I'm so glad we did because I think that might be our one little bit of family time. As I type this Matt has worked 105 hours and he's scheduled to work most of tomorrow too. Phew! That's hard on all of us, but we're thankful for the overtime.

Today I made a dreaded trip to JoAnn's and yes, it lived up to my prior post about horrible craft store experiences. But I got what I needed and Matt was nice enough to not only drive me there, but wait in the cutting line for me too. I'd like to say I got a lot of sewing done, but no, I just finished the body of the three stockings and think I might scrap them ... we'll see. I'm trying to work through it, attach the cuff and then give it a final vote. Other than that, it's been more naps, snuggling on the couch with Ethan while we watched Curious George (the movie) and playing games. Not too bad all things considered, just not what I had planned and well, that's okay.

Now I'd love to share a photo, but I think the pressure to photo for a Christmas album has had the opposite effect. I did get a few of Ethan helping me with muffins this evening, so maybe I'll have energy tomorrow to upload.

Until then, happy weekending!

Can I just say again that I love your banner? It makes me happy. :)

Well, I was napping when you called me - so I guess we'll chat tomorrow. :) Hope you're feeling better - glad you got an early morning Starbucks!

Loves!!
