New Post?

What? I thought I heard rumblings about a new post? Oh, I did? Okay then ...

But honestly, this is going to be short ... not nearly what it should be given all that has happened in my world this week, but let me give you a quick run down and a promise that I will blog about each of these items this weekend ... yes, a special blogging weekend!

• Volunteered for Extreme Home Makeover
• "Met" (and I use that term VERY loosely) Ty Pennington as well as saw several of the show designers.
• Spent approximately 6.5 hours in the full sun ... leaving me with a wee bit of red skin :(.
• Witnessed much joy and fun from Ethan as he soaked up the sun ... and had no red skin ... yea!
• Baked Hummingbird cupcakes and topped them with cream cheese frosting.
• Continued on my quest to a 5K run ... phew, I'm up to 3-minute bursts of running ...
  
• Scrapbooked more ... 2 or 3 more pages. This burst of creative energy totally has me boggled, but I'm going with it.

• Returned the beautiful couch I so lovingly showed you on Tuesday. Thankfully was able to get a new one, there by saving me the stress, headache and hardship of making new furniture decisions (I think I heard Matt say, "amen to that").

And throw into that all our "normal" life activities and well, the blog once again got pushed to the side.

I'll be back to elaborate more this weekend ... I know, I know, you can hardly contain your excitement ... try, okay? I'll be back soon!
