Yes, I do ... because not posting on my blog usually means I'm either way too busy with life or way too busy having fun ... and this time it was the latter ... whoo-hooo!
I thought I might go back to "normal" on Monday with Matt heading back to work ... but with Jessie still here to play with me all day long, I've continued to get nothing done ... well none of my "normal" household duties, but eh, who cares ... this is summer time!!
As her annual summer trip to see me comes to an end tomorrow I'll sadly get back to "normal" life ... and have time to re-cap all are fun ongoings of the last 8 days.
But for now ... some fun to share ...
Like this adorable mini-book we created today. Isn't it scrumptious? Jessie had the brilliant idea to create a book about all her girl friends ... she's just so clever ... and so we started the project this afternoon. About two hours later we both had books done. I wasn't sure I wanted to copy her totally original idea, but then I looked at my cover and it hit me ... mine could be my "chicks" .... ahhh, love it!

A few more awesome facts about our books ... they were created completely with supplies in my enormous stash ... how great does that feel to USE my stuff?!? The books were done in just under two hours, with pictures and journaling I think mine took three ... oh and we might have seen something similar, somewhere, sometime?!?
And as not to overwhelm you with FUN, I'll only share one more fabulous thing ... and that is this little place of wonderful called, etsy. Have you heard of it? It's kinda like ebay, only crafty and wonderful and no bidding!! Here are few samples of a few items I've picked up or would love to pick up and the etsy shop you can find them in. Don't blame me if this becomes your new favorite hang out!

And lastly, my love of purses doesn't seem to be dying off ... the blue/brown bag is simple and fun from JillyD Bags and the sash purse I adore, which is from Eclectic Whimsy (who I purchased a bag from this spring).
I think the thing I like BEST about this site is supporting creative people who are sharing their passion with the rest of us ... I totally get that.
Happy Tuesday!!

That album is WAY TO CUTE!! And I LOVE that blue and brown bag. I'm going to have to check out that site!
That book is amazing! I can't believe you did that in under 3 hours. It would've taken me that long just to look through my paper stash and figure out what to use. LOL Which reminds me that I have a paper stash. Probably should either use it or get rid of it someday. LOL
And I LOVE Etsy. Thanks for the mention of our bags listed there. You're a sweetheart. :)
What a fun post this was! Awesome album. How did you get that done in 3 hours? So cute! It is funny you mentioned Etsy. I saw it on 2 other blogs I was browsing through last night. It looks like such a cool site. There is already a bag I have my eye on.
I love all the cute websites you find! Thanks for sharing.
hmmm....your book idea looks slightly familiar! I love it! Great job! Fun etsy stuff...i'm obsessed with that place too!
I LOVE that bag by Shawn. In fact, I think I had it in my cart for a minute but I just couldn't spend that much on myself right now!
LOOOOVE that album, Andrea! Seriously! You rock, girlie! I hope some of your 7 Gypsies came in handy! :o)
I really like the book. I would be interested in learning how. You might have to show me...
