Lots to make me smile ...

Like the new camera I mentioned in yesterday's post. We bought the Canon PowerShot A630 to take along to Maui as an "underwater" camera. The underwater housing unit for the Rebel XT was more than purchasing this smaller camera and underwater housing unit. And like I said, I love that it takes video. We're not huge video camera people (obviously, we've never owned one), but there are plenty of precious little "shorts" I wish I could capture and share ... and now I can = Smile.

Our new couch has been ordered and (cross fingers) will be here in the next month. That seems like forever, but pretty good in the furniture world. And hey, having that air mattress in the living room for all those weeks will only make me more appreciative, right? Smile.

I've been up to more scrapbooking ... I don't know what it is, but I can't get it out of my head and have to do a little of something everyday. I've done two more LO's this week ... I'll try to share soon. What I really *need* is a new scanner to get better images of my LO's ... the camera is okay, but not great. New LO's = Smile.

Matt is completely drug free!! Isn't that so wonderful? I know some of you didn't even know about the intervention we had a few months back and his cushy re-hab at Promises. But after a week with Brittney and Lindsey he snapped back into the drug free man I fell in love with. Oh wait, did I just say all that? Okay, really he got the okay from the doctor to stop his blood pressure medicine, which was the last "drug" he was on following his year long treatment of Vasculitis. Now didn't the Promises line sound way more exciting? So happy to put this journey to rest. Smile.

And nothing like a cookies fresh from the oven to make a girl smile. Mmmmm. SMILE!

Happy Tuesday ... I hope you have a smile on your face!

We should all be so lucky to stay at a place like Promises... it's nicer than most resorts! I just hope Matt can stay drug free longer than Lindsay :) That camera is almost exactly what I have... you'll love it. Glad to hear you're full of smiles!

Hey, I have that Cannon Powershot! Ours is only a 5 mega pixel though. It's a good little camera. Much easier to "throw in the purse" than the Rebel :)

Good to hear Matt is back to normal. What a long journey for you guys!

Can't wait to see those LO's. Are you still paper scrapping? For some reason I thought you were a digital scrapper.

Way to go on the camera, too! :O)

I'm glad you love your new little camera. Can't wait to see the underwater pictures this fall! And that video of Ethan swimming is so great! He's doing really well!
I'm so happy to hear Matt is drug-free & this is behind you now.
What kind of cookies did you make? I think I have at last found the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. I'll share it later this week.

Nice post. Glad you have lots of reasons to smile this week. Me too. :)

Cookies...yummm. I didn't know you were making cookies today!

Hooray for a drug free husband - although I'm sure he wouldn't have minded a stay at Promises - looks nice. :)
