Me, "Ethan, please stop messing around, get your black shoes on so we can go to the store."
Ethan, "Makes my head hurt." (while grabbing the sides of his head for added effect)
Me, "What makes your head hurt?"
Ethan, "Your talking like that."
Uh-huh ... I relayed the story to Matt and he didn't respond much better, he said something to the effect of, "I know what he's saying ... and that is one of the funniest things I've heard." Yes, I was nagging, no it wasn't getting me anywhere ... and clearly it is inate in men that they like to tune out a nagging mom or wife ;).
I really had a different post in mind, but this was too funny, so I'll share my other thoughts tomorrow!

Oh my gosh that's funny. I can't say Matt's response surprises me. :) I'm sure Mike would've said the same thing.
