It really was a wonderful week and a half with many highlights ...
- Late Anniversary Dinner (Saturday, the 23rd) at PF Changs ... a "kick off" to several days of delicious meals ;). What a treat to have some time just Matt and I before the whirlwind of activities.
- Christmas Eve ... Church, Naps, Family Dinner, Candlelight Service, Dessert & Presents with Matt's Family ... the favorite gift ... the *very loud* firetruck ...
- Christmas Day ... sleeping in until 8:30AM (ahhh, cherishing that while it lasts) ... playing with the addition to the train set ... enjoying a delicious, relaxed, dinner with my family ... not hearing "TV please" all day long ;). My favorite picture, that sums of the pure joy Ethan was experiencing ... oh and the firetruck was joined by two CAT trucks, a digger and a dump truck ... complete with 42 different sounds/actions (okay, maybe that is a slight exaggeration) ...
- Post Christmas ... time with Tim & Jessie, Eric & Juliet (and family), almost 10 days with Matt home with us, just "hanging out" with no schedule ... oh and one of our favorite gifts, that has been well loved already, a wonderful fondue set ...
All in all it was a wonderfully full time and I'm already looking forward to next year. It's so much fun to experience the magic and watch the joy of Christmas through your child's eyes.
Oh and yes, the calendar turned to a new year too ... I love the idea of a fresh start. I haven't really though to much about my goals or resolutions, but I do know there are some areas I'd like to focus on ...
I hope you all had as wonderful of a holiday break as I did, I'm now enjoying getting back into our daily routine.

Sounds like you guys had a great Christmas! I'm disappointed we weren't able to get together while Jessie was here. We were just so busy and it sounds like you were too. Let's try to get together soon though.
Cute sweater! Must be popular...I just picked one up last week & I noticed Heather was wearing one in Alicia's pictures from Eden's party. :)
