Mmmm ... Monday ...

Monday, again?
Mondays are usually a happy day around here. It's a fresh start, a new week ... lots of possibilities.

Mondays are the day I like to grocery shop. It doesn't always happen, but when it doesn't, I feel like we're floundering in my attempts at dinner. Really, I don't think it matters when you shop as long as you shop with a plan.

This week's menu plan is EASY meals. It's getting warmer and it's a busy week ... easy is okay.

Matt took me shopping last night (not always my favorite to go with the boys, but it was actually very nice) so I woke up with a big to-do for the day done. Hurray!

Meal Plan -
  • Grilled chicken sausage & veggies tossed with chunks of fresh mozzarella (YUM!)
  • Grilled sandwiches & asparagus
  • Mini Ravioli tossed in olive oil & Parmesan with salad
  • Breakfast!
  • Burgers, smash fries & salad
In addition, I'd like to make -
Phew, I guess I'm making up for the easy meals with lots of baking :). A few more weeks when the temps rise more and I won't feel like baking, so I'm squeezing it in.

My challenge to you ... bake some homemade bread this week. Not only will it make the people in your family smile, it will make your heart happy.

I plan to bake a few more loaves this week and deliver in a handmade bread bag too!

Happy Monday!

no bread will be baking around here for awhile, unless we get another cool front. It was beautiful this weekend, perfect for baking, but I was too busy with other things. We're in full force summer cooking (or non cooking) around here.

I can't do it. :( Or I don't want to....one of the two. :) Maybe I'll try it out. It would be fun to have something fresh to eat jam on ....

Sounds like another delish week at your house!!
