Mondays are usually a happy day around here. It's a fresh start, a new week ... lots of possibilities.
Mondays are the day I like to grocery shop. It doesn't always happen, but when it doesn't, I feel like we're floundering in my attempts at dinner. Really, I don't think it matters when you shop as long as you shop with a plan.
This week's menu plan is EASY meals. It's getting warmer and it's a busy week ... easy is okay.
Matt took me shopping last night (not always my favorite to go with the boys, but it was actually very nice) so I woke up with a big to-do for the day done. Hurray!
Meal Plan -
- Grilled chicken sausage & veggies tossed with chunks of fresh mozzarella (YUM!)
- Grilled sandwiches & asparagus
- Mini Ravioli tossed in olive oil & Parmesan with salad
- Breakfast!
- Burgers, smash fries & salad
- Zucchini cakes
- Wheat Bread (check)
- Chocolate Chip Granola Bars (a combination of this recipe and this recipe)
- Sweet Chex Mix (for our swim date)
- Blueberry Muffins
- Banana Muffins or Bread (E loves muffins for breakfast & lunch)
- Chocolate Chip Cookies (check)
- Graham Crackers

My challenge to you ... bake some homemade bread this week. Not only will it make the people in your family smile, it will make your heart happy.
I plan to bake a few more loaves this week and deliver in a handmade bread bag too!
Happy Monday!

no bread will be baking around here for awhile, unless we get another cool front. It was beautiful this weekend, perfect for baking, but I was too busy with other things. We're in full force summer cooking (or non cooking) around here.
hmmm, I am a little afraid of your challenge but I may attempt it :) wishing I was eating at your house this week, ha!
I can't do it. :( Or I don't want to....one of the two. :) Maybe I'll try it out. It would be fun to have something fresh to eat jam on ....
Sounds like another delish week at your house!!
Hmmm, I'm w/Summer homemade bread scares me? Do you have a good foul proof recipe?
