We interrupt this blog ...

... oh wait, there wasn't anything to interrupt, was there? ;)

Okay, instead how about I share with you two moments today where I wanted to look someone right in the eye and say, "Seriously?"

Moment 1 - Ethan and I are waiting in the designated single check out line at JoAnn's. We are first in line, waiting for the next available cashier. Another mother and her son walk up behind us, wait, check out the candy, wait some more and then I hear, "Are you in line?"

Seriously? Uhm, no we just thought we would stand right here and hang out for a bit, by all means go around us.

Moment 2 - Walking into Albertsons, I went to grab a cart. Somewhat blocking the entrance was a set of people catching up with each other. There was a couple, with their new daughter (maybe 2 weeks new) and an older daughter. They were speaking to a woman they knew. I was honed in on the baby, but couldn't help but hear the dad say, "We're definitely going to try again for a boy." And then his wife (the new mom) replies, "Yeah, 2 days after she was born I said we were going to try again."

Wow, wouldn't you feel loved if you were one of the two daughters in that family? I wanted to slap them silly and tell them to enjoy each moment because they may not get to have another one and be content and THANKFUL for the little girl you just had.

Now I know I'm a bit jaded on the last one, but again ... Seriously?!?!

Hopefully I can come back tomorrow with some new pictures to share. Things seem to be a bit more calm this week ... emotionally related and work related.

Happy Monday!

You know my opinion on the second one...since I have been "plagued" with three boys. :)

That second one drives me nuts! I hate hearing "oh! perfect!!" when I tell people we have a girl and a boy.

Hope you enjoyed your time standing in line for no reason at Joann's. What a relaxing way to start your week :) hee hee...

Justified irritation on both counts!

I shake my head at them. For shame...

So I think all Joann's are kind of like that...I've had many an issue in line at Joann's...some crafty ladies are just wacky I think. As for comment #2....the part of me that is dying for a child, any child at all finds this hard to imagine!
