A virtual shopping trip ...

I got to escape the house yesterday after more than 48 hours home bound with a sick boy. I was a wee bit excited, especially because I was meeting up with my YOUNG HIP sister at Starbucks (on a side note - who got shocked by their price increase yesterday?!?).

We decided to do our shopping first since it's so inconvenient to shop while holding a beverage, no? My shop of choice for this trip - Forever 21. Have you been there? Do you even know what I'm talking about?

A few thoughts about "Forever 21" -

• They carry 80% ridiculous/horrible and 20% very cute/fun
• Prepare to be overwhelmed with a lot of hideousness, it's kind of like a rummage sale, you have to seek out the treasure amongst the trash
  
• You will wonder why everything is thrown about as if it was the day after Thanksgiving
• If you've never had a panic attack, go to Forever 21 on a weekend
• The clothing is very reasonable priced and I suspect you get what you pay for, but it is a great shop for adding some fun pieces to your wardrobe without breaking the bank

Seriously, so fun and can be dressed up or down or layered with a sweater to carry into fall.

We ended the shopping with a bit to eat and Starbucks. A very fun "getaway" from the house :).
