... who finally got his gills this summer.

Swimming across the deep end.
We spent the past two weeks at swimming lessons and Ethan improved 200% over last summer. Some of that has to do with our weekly play date at "Little Swimmers" and some is probably his age. Two days into lessons he jumped off the diving board himself (the first two days he had to have a little help) and after I told him how proud I was of him he said, "I just trusted myself to do it."
Swimming across the deep end.
Set ...
Jump.
Ethan also asked me why you didn't use a certain part of the male anatomy for swimming. I think I spit my iced tea as I tried not to laugh. So of course, being a girl, I called Matt to ask him his answer. He said to tell Ethan he could use it as a rudder :).
Alright, so this is probably our last summer post before Wednesday when our summer break is officially "over" according to the school calendar. I really can't talk about that right now, I'm already holding back a lump in my throat just thinking about it.
So, instead, tomorrow, I'll talk about what a great man I'm married to ... that is if I get the 30+ orders done that need to go out on Wednesday.
For now, Happy Monday!

That is such a funny story! Good thing it's documented - it'll be great blackmail when he's about 16 ;) Have fun sewing!
