This blog gets no love ...

... am I right?

I know I have much to share, from BIG to small, but apparently that 8 nights of fun required about 4 full days of R&R.

Seriously ... I got up at 7:30AM on Saturday feeling "hungover" from a night of sleep interrupted every hour or so starting a little after midnight when Ethan had a croup-like breathing episode. I say croup-like because we haven't had any repeat episodes, just chest congestion and coughing. Needless to say I was back in bed at 9AM for an hour nap. That didn't stop me from an hour and a half nap again at 2PM. And you know what? At 11PM I went to bed and didn't wake up until almost 9AM today. I think I finally feel "caught" up.

So, here's a blog post showing some love (was Valentine's really only 2 weeks ago? It feels like at least a month).

Ethan waking up to heart streamers ... can you tell he really liked them? They stayed up until the birthday decorations went up.

Ethan opening what may be his only pair of "character" shoes (it's for sure his first pair and may be his last pair ... 'cause I'm mean like that). Thanks to a great deal Kelly found and the fact that these are pretty hip shoes, even with Superman on them, I couldn't resist what I knew would delight Ethan. I was right ...

And trying to capture my mom, sister and Ethan. I don't have a perfect one of all three, but I think this one shows quite a bit of love. It was very fun having them wake up with us on Valentine's morning.

So there you have it, a little love for the blog AND how about ... a little love for you ... my faithful readers.

What's that? After jumping on board the "Pay it Forward" movement, which is sweeping blog land again this year (you might remember I also participated in 2008 ... or was it 2007?), on the Knitty Bitties blog, I decided I wanted to play along with Erica too, so I'm going to post on here too.

So the love ... I'll send the first three people to comment that they want to join in some happy mail sometime in the next 365 days. It might be handmade, it might not. It might be one of my favorite things or one of your favorite things, it might not. But whatever it is, I hope it'll make you happy.

So, what do you say, do you want some love? If so, say yes and then promise to do the same (Pay it Forward/Spread the Love) on your own blog! I think in this economy, we could all use some surprise happiness every once in awhile.

With that I wish you a lovely week!

Sweet, I guess something good can come out of checking blogs early in the AM. I played along w/Bethany on FB, so I like you will get 2 lovely whatevers yet give out 6!!! Fortunately, it is more blessed to give than receive right? No, really I look forward to surprising people and being surprised.

SO glad you got caught up on sleep!

Oh and I'm glad I'm not he only mean mom not buying character (excuse my language) crap! Those shoes are cool though. I did cave once and buy some Wall E shoes and vowed not to make that mistake again.

Anyway, i'm way too wordy this AM.
Have a good one!

Well, Summer and her multiple posts worried me a bit, but it looks like I'm #2, so I'll play. I'm playing a long on another blog too, so I'll be sharing with 6 people on my blog later this week.

I just realized that I hadn't posted since Valentine's Day - until tonight. Yikes!! Your pics are cute - where are the photos of your new Valentine shoes?
