My Little "Miss" E ...

is the BIG news I was waiting to share on here!
Of course most of you close to me already know as I could hardly stand myself yesterday ...

(picture borrowed from proud parents)

Miss Eloise Morgan arrived exactly three weeks earlier than her "due" date. Now most of us close to her mama felt like she would be early (we hoped she would so her poor feet wouldn't explode), but this was even earlier than any of us had planned.

Born at 2:49AM on 3-23, 7lbs 11oz (such a light weight) and 19.5in

Fertility, pregnancy and new born babies are sometimes a difficult subject for me as we've struggled to have another one of our own and yet this little one is different. She is the next best thing to having my own. I loved watching her mama walk down the hall with a look of fear and excitement just moment after she'd discovered she was pregnant. I loved hearing about the doctor's visits (and even got to go to one myself), watching the belly grow and feeling Miss E on the inside ... but nothing beats hearing your best friend give that last push and then hearing her baby cry. Thank you guys for letting me share that with you, it was/is an incredible blessing.

Thank you Lord for your wonderful design for new life and thank you for the precious gift you give to a woman to be called a mother.

Now I'm counting the hours until I get to hold the second best little "E" in my life ... She's already captured my heart!

Happy Day!

You have me all teary-eyed and choked up! I'm so glad she's here and healthy! A "lightweight" indeed but had she waited three more weeks I think she would've been up with Ethan & Carson. :)
I really hope you get to go hold that sweet Ella Roo very very soon!

What a sweet post! That is such a selfless way to look at what is such a difficult situation for you guys.

7lbs 11oz 3 weeks early is lightweight?! Guess you'd consider my kids feathers who weighed in at 5lbs 5oz and 6lbs 10oz full term :P

Oh Andrea that was a very sweet post indeed! The Lord is good and the gift of motherhood is unmeasurable.
There's nothing like holding a newborn baby. When are you are you going to visit?
