A little bit of everything & anything ...

First, Matt has had another one of his photos selected for Picture of the Day at Benel.com. His "Seattle at Night" picture will be up tomorrow and I being the proud wife that I am, told him I would post this "PSA" on my blog so all of my readers go and vote for him tomorrow ... Tuesday, February 19th!

I *love* that he gets these greats shots, even with our little point and shoot ... see, you don't have to have a digital-SLR to get a good picture!

Second, since it seems to be the "thing" consuming all my energies ... Ethan is still sick. We're entering day 6 of fevers above 100, with several days well over 101. So we'll be visiting the doctor again today ... I'm glad Matt can come with us as I think they may want to draw blood (big tears will be shed by me and Ethan). Please continue to pray for my guy, this is supposed to be a big week for him and I'm hoping and praying we can still do much that we had planned.

Third, sewing (sorry Jeff, but you knew it was bound to come up again!). Yes, with Ethan sick and watching a lot of TV and playing a lot of computer games (I mean really if he won't sleep what else is there to do? We're no different, right?) ... I've had some time to sew, sew, sew. I also managed an hour or so Friday night to shop, shop, shop for some more fabric. I am almost finished with Amanda's little girls aprons, just need to finish binding one.

I made this full (and reversible) apron from a new pattern (love this apron) ... it's a "test run" of the pattern and I believe it will be going to live with Miss Erin. But should she turn it down I'll offer it up for a steal :). I did forget interfacing on the top band and one of the straps is not perfectly lined up (hence the good deal). Saturday night, I think, I cut out a lot of fabric, so I'm ready to sew up a few more totes and make Amanda's version of the full apron in the next few days.

(14wide at top/12wide at bottom ~ 8tall ~
2.5deep ~ 8drop of handles)

And I just finished this tote bag which I'm quite pleased with, but boy was it a lot of work (I used to thick of interfacing I think) ... not sure how many of these I'll make for the shop, but since it's Monday and I'm feeling like maybe someone else needs a pick me up ... I'll offer this black & white cutie to the first person that wants it for $18 (plus s&h if you live far from me). One down side to it, there are no pockets ... just thought I should throw that out there in case it matters :).

Alright, that seems like enough for now ... I did have plans to share all the beauty related products I've treated myself to the last month, but I suppose that will have to wait (again, Jeff, I know you're anxiously awaiting this post!).

Happy Monday!!

Aw crud, I like that black one too. I probably should restrain until I at least use my blue one right? :)
Praying for you guys...

I have heard about the sickness about your house. I didn't know it was that bad. I'll be praying for you. As for the black & white tote, I really like it. I want to be jumping up and down waving my hand saying "pick me! pick me!" But I just checked my bank account so perhaps another time, but it is nice! :)

OK - I think I am still in the running. I want the b&w tote. So mark it gone! Talk to you tomorrow. Glad EE's getting meds to help him get better.

Bug. I wanted the tote. Ah well - I guess I *did* just get one from you. :)

The apron is too cute! I'm sure Miss Erin will like.

Hope the meds will help EE feel better by tomorrow! Talk to you then!

Ugh - this winter has been the pits for colds/flus! At least one person in our house has been sick since Thanksgiving! Right now, it's just sniffles and little coughs but I am SO readyfor spring to come! Hope Ethan is doing better today :(

And that apron is so adorable! Definitely gonna have to pick up one for our little girl at some point in the future!
