Thursday night - Flew into PDX, picked up by our lovely hosts, made an obligatory stop at Burgerville for Matt to have a late night snack. Settled in, went to bed.
Friday - Jessie was able to take the day off and Matt surprised me with a special treat - an hour massage. Jessie got one too! A very sweet and thoughtful early birthday present to me! Homemade Guacamole & Chips for lunch and a dinner at the very yummy Willamette Noodle Company. Yum! Watched Grey's & October Road together ;). So much better with your best friend sitting next to you.
Saturday - After a rainy start to the day changed our plans of going to the tulip fields, we opted to go on a drive to see several covered bridges in the Willamette Valley. Jessie & Tim headed up to Portland for a birthday party, so we were on our own until dinner time. Watched Failure to Launch ... again, so much fun watching a chick flick with your best chick!
~Okay so see my memory has already failed me because we actually went to Borders Saturday night for our traditional "Hollywood gossip" catch up. Jess & I love to read all the garbage magazines that we won't buy on our own but are highly interested in. Anyway, we did watch the movie ... I obviously just don't remember when ;). ~

Sunday - Jessie & Tim introduced us to their *new* church which they are so enjoying. We enjoyed it too and Matt caught up with a special couple that used to go to our church. Then after a delicious lunch at Arby's, LOL, we headed to Jessie's new favorite yarn store, The Purl District in a neighboring town. SO, so, so very cute. We bought yarn to start our next knitting project (more on this tomorrow). And we found another covered bridge ... perfect for pictures ;).

A few things to note about this picture ... 1. The face I'm making ... apparently I have to look like I'm about to devour something in order to get more lift when I jump?!? 2. I believe Ethan is just as far off the ground as we are ... I'd like to think that is because he is a quarter of our weight and therefore should get more lift, right?
Okay, that seems like enough rambling for one day ... tomorrow we're onto our beach adventures!
Happy (very warm ... like 85 degrees) Tuesday!!

More great pictures. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hee, hee. Love that photo!! It's ridiculous & so fun at the same time. I hope to get one of these on my blog soon. :)
We should probably practice our jump moves - next time Ethan might get more air than us. Yikes...
