{Inspired by this post ... I wasn't going to post because I thought I 'needed' more pictures, but she proved me wrong.}
Monday - Grocery shopping and then playdate with friends ... like almost all day. It started at Bounce! and then McDonalds for lunch followed by playtime for E at their house while I got my haircut. I love getting my haircut. It was such a treat after almost 9 months since my last one. I went to one of my sister's friends at Nancy Jane Salon. Wonderful experience. Finished the evening with a baby shower.
Tuesday - A day for catching up around the house and finishing up lots of sewing.
Wednesday - One of those terrible no good very bad days for me, but a friend & sugar filled day for E. Matt brought me home flowers (prompted by this sweet girl). I was once again showered with love from wonderful friends. I did get almost all of our presents wrapped ... that felt like a HUGE accomplishment. Although they didn't quite go as planned, I loved the red & lime green color scheme ;).
Thursday - A girls morning/afternoon with my Mom & sister while E played all things Star Wars with these boys. We grabbed Starbucks and then headed to pedis at our favorite shop. I indulged in snowflakes and sparkles on my big toes! Then we had a delicious lunch at Smashburger before my mom and I headed to pick up E and my sister headed home to get ready for the best Christmas present evah.
Friday - Enjoying Matt being home. Prepping for Christmas Eve ... making chili and mini pumpkin pies. Wrapping up all those last minute items. Christmas Eve celebration to come ...
My sister picked these 'branch lights' up at Craft Warehouse this week. We saw them on Monday night at the home where the baby shower was hosted and both *loved* them. After twisting her arm, I talked her out of her second pack. This picture does not do them justice. It's a bit silly, but I really, really, really love these. Like they make me smile when I see them ... like they haven't really been turned off since last Thursday ... like I made Matt turn off all the lights so he could try to see just why I love them so. I don't know if he got it or not, but he did tell me to go buy some more if I love them so much :).

Lots of love ... love the polish, love the color scheme of wrapping paper and those branches. I think they could stay up well into spring.
It was fun catching up last night, I'm looking forward to our next moms night out.
