Specifically for snow boots for Ethan. Tennis shoes were not cutting it with all the snow on the ground and his rain boots were getting a little snug. We ended with waterproof hiking boots in the hopes that we get a little more use out of them. He's worn them every day since so I think he likes them.
S is for Santa ...
On our way to meet Santa (formerly known as "The Snowman Guy") ...
... except Ethan didn't know Santa would be visiting our neighborhood. He just though we were out for a chilly walk.
He really didn't expect Santa to roll up in this ...
And we really didn't expect this ...
The last five years of Christmas, Ethan wanted NOTHING to do with sitting on Santa's lap. In fact, the first three years of life he wanted nothing to do with 'the snowman guy.' Years four and five he warmed up to the idea of Santa, but still prefered him from afar. This year he said he'd get his picture taken. This year he said he'd stand next to Santa. But Santa was too quick and before Ethan knew what happened, he was sitting on his lap :).
Almost as good as Santa ... were his escorts ...
S is for Sledding ...
As if Santa wasn't enough fun for one weekend, we (and by we I mean Matt & Ethan) snuck in a little sledding at a great hill in our neighborhood.
