- I can not stand (and I say this very emphatically) to step on anything wet with my bare feet ... especially in the kitchen. Gives me the heebie jeebies. I also don't like to step on any type of crumb, grain, dirt, etc. In conclusion, I can not make it through the day bare foot in our house.
- I love wearing flip flops which then transfers to the flip flop slippers while I'm at home. But before going to bed I have to wash my feet of all the "ick" that they collect being so close to the ground all day, separated with only a thin bit of shoe :).
- While I'm sewing, I kick off one slipper and like to use my bare foot on the sewing pedal?!?!
- I LOVE (like really, really, really LOVE) the feel of a new pair of socks!!!
- My toenails have to be painted and if one gets a chip it must either be touched up or all the toes re-painted before going into public.
- Running has not been kind to my feet. In the last five years I've lost both big toenails and I'm about to loose my left pointer toenail (not sure how else to describe this one so I'm using finger identification, LOL) for the second time (the first was in Maui last year).
- And while my feet may be missing toenails and often sore and calloused or blistered, they have ran 83 miles since April 14th. As soon as I hit 100 miles they are getting treated to new shoes :).
(I did technically reach my 100 mile goal, but there was a four month hiatus ... so I'm counting from the time I re-committed to running :))
What's for dinner tonight? - We had a DELICIOUS new recipe, Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas. The cottage cheese made them so creamy and good. My changes - I used a can of Kirkland canned chicken, flour tortillas, 9x9 dish, low-fat cottage cheese and sour cream.
Oh and last night ... we ended up having breakfast for dinner (waffles and fruit!!) so tomorrow will probably be FFY night!!
Happy Wednesday!

I think knowing is half the battle!
Love that you are running congrats on the mileage!
Also, I'm enjoying your dinner posts. It's always nice to get fresh new ideas and see what other people are doing.
I love FFY nights! But Dad thinks we have too many of them! Congrats on the running. And yes - you might need therapy. Seems just a little too much focus on the tootsies! But as issues go it could be a lot worse! Love you!
ok, I have been lurking for a while. I found your blog through a friend's friend's blog (after a bit of blog stalking :). Anyway, we went to school together, my maiden name was Mistie Tolman. So I've been anonymously enjoying peeking into your life, and I decided that wasn't fair! :) Plus, I too have issues with my feet, so I had to add a "me too" to this entry :)
As much as I love shoes, I would much rather be barefoot. My grandpa, who is from Kentucky, always told me it was the hillybilly in me. :)
