A handful of inspiration?
Okay, hold on, it might be a little more than a handful. As I mentioned earlier, I've been participating in a free class at Big Picture Scrapbooking, Get a LOAD of This! Which is really more of a challenge to scrapbook everyday in January. So far I've done it ... and it's actually making me a little faster and leaving me feeling quite inspired and ready for the next day.
So here are those LO's:
010408 - I created a new cover for my 2008 calendar and added cute tabs to each month. I think it's a nice change ;).
010608 -
010708 - The front cover/inside & back inside/cover for my Paper08 Album.
010808- Week #1 for Paper08 (Balance)
010908 - Week #2 Paper08 (My Souvenir)
011208 - Apron Love - I love the way this one turned out ... and it came together so quick with a little bit of goodies from my new January Studio Calico kit and a bit from my December Mosh Posh kit.
52 Card Scrap-Up (I used some of my days to get my cards cards caught up)
Week #9 - Christmas Music (010508)

Week #12 - Open Topic (011008)

Week #13 - 2008 (011108)

Phew ... maybe I shouldn't save these all up for just one post a week ;). Maybe this coming week I'll try to share a little everyday. And I'd love to add a few of these to my sidebar in an album, but no promises on that either.
Two more bits of inspiration for you photographers out there ;).
First, I picked up a pack of Ilford's Premium Photo Pearl Finish printer paper at Costco yesterday ... I've been wanting to try it out in my Canon i960 (where I do most of my scrapbook printing), but didn't want to order online. So for $18.99 for 100/sheets I figured it was worth a try ... Oh My! It prints so beautifully and I don't even have the ICC profiles back from Ilford yet. Combined with my Huey, the pics were almost spot on for what my screen showed.
Second, I've been meaning to pick up some photo actions (as if I really needed more) by Brenda Acuncius ever since I saw them on a friends blog. I finally did it last night after still being frustrated to find just the right one for everyday photos. Well these are fabulous, I really love them and combined with the new photo paper I couldn't be happier with my prints.
Phew, with that ... Happy Weekend!!

Wow! You've been a busy little creator!
You use the same calendar I do! I love it but was sad when I couldn't find the Christian version this year. Maybe I need to make mine cute to make me feel better. Unfortunately all my creative energy/time in the near future will be focused on helping a certain kindergartener with his monkey project, so I doubt it will happen but thanks for the inspiration anyway! :)
I'm so impressed that you've kept up with LOAD...me, not so much...hoping to catch up a bit today though!
great stuff here...and I might need to check out that photo paper myself.
Holy smokes! You've been a busy girl~ great stuff as always.
I like your blog, blah blah blah. Let's cut to the chase; I need more of these cupcakes! I'm not exactly sure why they arrived at my house, other than it was meant to be. I've eaten about eight in two days and am running dangerously low. Unacceptable. I officially turn my Christmas cookie voucher in for a cake. Just make one great big one. ONE. No wrappers, I just hurt myself on them. With BLUE icing. And sprinkles. Do it or I'm getting a lawyer.
Hugs and kisses - Bethany's Husband
