Ethan still went back to school this past week saying he had a pretty good track break. Maybe not great, but at this point, we'll take pretty good.
Matt was wonderful (this also deserves its own post) taking off almost 3 weeks of work to take care of me, take care of Ethan ... and get this, take care of our new Daisy girl.
Yes, Daisy girl.
She was definitly the highlight of our track break. The consolation prize of a canceled vacation. A little 6lb bundle of fun. We are all smitten (and I'm saying this after having her for 3 weeks).
Other high points::
- Playdate at Bounce!
- Lots of trips to Starbucks {Ethan's drink? "Handmade" Vanilla Milk w/ light whip, no ice} for all of us. E and I *might* be in love with their new cake pops {pink w/ sprinkles, please} ... Mmmm.
- Eating out at a few of our favorite places ... Smashburger, Flatbread Pizza & Famous Dave's
- Black Light Miniature golfing ~ Matt & E
- Antique/Flea Market Shopping ... Matt & E's new hobby? Seriously, E likes going to look at junk ;).
- New markers for coloring, new Legos for building, caterpillars for growing (we've now got 5 chrysalis')
Of course, not many pictures were taken ... but here is a handful of Daisy girl and E.
Seriously, how can you resist that face?
And nose?
Puppy breath? Ewww ... that I can resist.
Watching your little take 'his' pup for her first walk? Melted my heart.
I'm not sure if this post means I'm back to blogging here or not, but it IS a start. And if you're ever worried about me {Hi Aunt Peggy!! Love you!} you can always pop over to the Knitty Bitties blog to see what I've been up to ;).
Happy Weekend!
