Remember this post? Uhm, can I say that was the last time I had my hair cut?!?! Which if I am doing math in my head correctly ... is oh, almost 5 months ago!! Yikes ... I guess the positive is that I'm a little more brave to try something new after having the same thing for so long ;).
Here's the new do' ... another 4-6 inches off the length, which added to the last cut means I've cut 11-13 inches off my hair this year. Do you think my hair grows fast or what?!?

First, I should really find a better spot to take self portraits (horrible lighting) and could really work on the focus issue, but you know ... Second, I'm guessing you didn't even notice my hair did you? You were busy checking out the "big guns" in the picture ... I couldn't help but flex and give you a little show ;).

And the side view.
I really love this style and think I might actually fix my hair daily ... that would be a nice change. But I also know that I'll need some "cute" way to pull it back, especially while running. This morning I managed two teeny tiny piggy tails (or pig poofs as Jessie calls them) for my run.
So ... last night I bought this DIY set to make my own cute bobby pins ... like these:

Etsy has so many great things ... in fact, I have plans to dedicate a post (or two) to several of my favorite shops and items. Maybe it'll be a "start thinking Christmas gifts" kind of post ... because this year I plan to "Buy Handmade" as much as I can. I think it's fun, unique and I really like supporting other people like me, having a passion and creating out of their homes.
But for today, I'm going to end with this gilry goodness I received in the mail ...

A scrabble pendant from the cutest shop, HomeStudio. And seriously, it's such a great little treat for you and someone else too (they have an awesome special of Buy 2 Get 1 Free). Oh yes, I got three ... now the question is who gets the other two? This may be my favorite new little gift to give ... how cute would it be attached to a card? So fun!!
Happy Sunday!!

Adorable hair! I love it! If I had straight hair, that's the cut I'd want! :)
I bought stuff to make booby pins like that but of course have yet to do it. It's on the list though.
I have wanted to buy one of those little pendant necklaces so many times but just haven't. I like it a lot. You may have swayed me to actually go through with it instead of putting them in & out of my "cart". :)
Love the hair!! Looks very cute! I was actually thinking you are pretty buff when I was looking at the first picture! ;0)
Adorable hair! Trying to get that self portrait is very difficult! I was just doing the same thing Thursday night. Love those bobby pins. I may have to get some of those as I continue the awful process of growing my bangs back out.
cute cute hair!
love those etsy finds too!
You're a hot momma! Loving the buff arms! ;)
Great post!! Love the hair (still). So cute!
I must say I'm a little offended, I've posted like 15 posts & I get no comments & here you have 5 already. Hmmffft. :)
Super cute necklace too!!
Oooo, I like you hair! Mine is kind of close to the same length except it has no style and I have been mulling over what to do next with this mop of hair that I have... Maybe something similar to yours and maybe even going crazy and getting the drastic Victoria Beckham long-in-front-short-in-back. Hm... what to do...
I laughed when you pointed out your arms because I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it. I am so observant! I was actually thinking about the times I have taken self portraits in the mirror and how hard they are to get the right angle etc, so I was impressed. And then I admired the nice guns! Keep up the good work!
Ooh! Super-cute! It's about the length of mine right now, but I need a bit of style added to it. It might end up looking a bit like yours ;)
ok
*nice guns
*cute hair
