To do or not to do ...

Preschool next year that is ...

I have no experience with this, and really I was thinking I would wait until Ethan was 4 to enroll him, BUT I found out about a great sounding preschool that is near our house and seems really reasonably priced.

So here is what I'm thinking ...
  • Ethan will be 3 1/2 when preschool starts ... kind of an in between age, like he's right on the verge of being ready to go to school.
  • Anyone who knows Ethan knows he LOVES social settings. Does so well with Sunday School and MOPS, loves organized structure.
  • Ethan is an only child and I think (and I hope this doesn't sound like one of those cop outs) that other child interaction is really good for him.
  • It's only two days a week for a little over two hours a day ... with lots of structure and an emphasis on music. They also go to the work and effort of recording your child's year through pictures and presenting you with a "scrapbook" at the end with their papers, progress, etc. It's these extra touches that have me sold.
  • And because I have ZERO reference, it's $80/month ... isn't that pretty reasonable?
Any thoughts, ideas, recommendations?

(And just so it's all out there ... LOL ... the thought of a few hours to myself every week is quite the temptation, but I want to do this only if it's beneficial for Ethan ;) )

And, while you're giving me advice ... which would you pick ... both so cute, so stylish ... so sexy ... if a phone can be sexy.

Happy Thursday ... Woo-hooo for a great TV Night!!

We are in the same "to do or not to do" preschool boat as you. What preschool is this? $80 is seems pretty resonable to me. The ones I've looked into are over $100 (for 3 days a week).

As far as the phone, both are cute...sexy...whatever way you want to look at it :) but me being a red-lover would have to choose that one.

Have a fun TV night!

I say yes to preschool...I would start Judah this year if it wouldn't mean 2 years of preschool before kindergarten...and 2 hours is a good chunk of time.

IMHO, I love hte green one. I do love red, but if I had the choice, it would be green. but that is coming from me, who is the recently new owner of the cherry blossom razr by T-Moblie....and I LOVE it!!!

We opted out of preschool but the reasons are too lenghthy to get into here. I'll tell you next time I see you if you want to know.

I will be shocked if you don't get the green phone. :)

I can't wait for 8 o'clock! I'm more excited for that than Survivor or The Office (although it looks like that promises to be funny)

They look good, they feel nice, but have low battery life, funky buttons, and no speakerphone (enough Cons to make it a no-go for me).

I think it is a wonderful idea. They say music is one of the best 'brain' foods - not that Ethan needs more brains! But I think he would love it, and it would be good for you to have time to yourself - you would enjoy him even more - and most likely he would enjoy you more! And I like the berry phone better than the green apple!
