Did you know that "holidays" are so much more fun when you have children?
They make you look at things in a whole new fun light ...
I think Ethan really *loves* Valentine's Day ;).
After waking up to a special present, a Thomas the Train DVD and a Thomas train, we had a quick breakfast and then had a morning of passing out treats to those we loved.
Our first stop was Baby Claire, clearly the cutest of all our valentines ...

And then to see Jessica, Aunt Julie, Grandma, my former co-workers and Aunt Summer.
Phew ... a whirlwind morning, but very fun for us and our valentines.
Tonight we're going to share a little more love with a heart shaped pizza for dinner.
Matt and I had a dinner out the other night at The Cheescake Factory and he surprised me with this beautiful necklace a week or so ago. We saw it this summer at our local Art in the Park and I loved it ... plus I knew Jessie would be jealous (it has a pink center stone) and I'm all about making her jealous of my stuff ;).

Cute shirt! I had the hardest time finding one for Garrett so I had to make one. Apparently Valentine shirts for almost 5 year olds are not cool. Oh well. His was cute.
We were also going to put a Valentine's spin on our Halloween tradition of visiting workplaces but due to recent events decided to stay home. Your pretzels were the highlight of our fun day at home! :) Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I have to agree with you. Holidays are a lot more fun when you have kiddos! I really like that necklace! I also had to comment on your post from the 5th of Feb. You said something about drinks tasting better out of a plastic cup and straw--I feel the EXACT same way and my husband thinks that I am so weird because of it! The ice doesn't melt as fast in a plastic cup! Anyway just thought I'd give you my 2 cents! Jaime (one of your lurkers)
